在自動(dòng)化領(lǐng)域，光電傳感器總體上提供了所有快速和非接觸式監(jiān)測(cè)的好處。在標(biāo)準(zhǔn)傳感器中，對(duì)射傳感器,反向反射傳感器，漫反射傳感器這三種功能性的原理上之間有區(qū)別，取決于功能和相對(duì)位置。

反射板型光電傳感器發(fā)射器和接收器被安裝在一個(gè)殼體中，所以這類傳感器安裝比較簡(jiǎn)單。在對(duì)面放置一塊反射板并用傳感器進(jìn)行與之對(duì)齊。標(biāo)準(zhǔn)型的反射板傳感器內(nèi)部增加了偏振濾波片，能實(shí)現(xiàn)遠(yuǎn)距離的可靠檢測(cè)，即使是高光澤的物體。帶透明物體檢測(cè)功能的反射板型傳感器可用來(lái)穩(wěn)定檢測(cè)透明目標(biāo)物。
